Morland is a 200 year old brick built farmhouse with original beams and features. The house is tucked away in the beautiful hamlet of Burrow Bridge with extensive views across the Somerset levels. To the rear of the building is a comfortable riverside terrace where you can relax and enjoy the picturesque views across the river Tone.
The area is steeped in history, King Alfred of Wessex led his armies into battle here, or you could pay a visit to the nearby Burrow Mump, a historic hill where you can find the ruins of the 15th century medieval church.The King Alfred pub at the bottom of the Mump offers excellent meals to suit all tastes, including comprehensive vegan and vegetarian choices.
